Kumpulan Tari Dunearn, Puspa Sari

The Dunearn Malay Dance Group, Puspa Sari had been in existence since the inception of Dunearn Secondary School in 1962. From a humble beginning of 16 members, its membership has increase steadily over the years. Currently, our dancers stands at 30 members from Secondary One to Five. Regular practices were held twice a week on Tuesday and Friday afternoon. Members were given training in dancing which include the zapin, joget, ronggeng, masri and inang. Ever since its inception, its members had participated in numerous school concerts, public performances and national competitions. Next year, our dancers will be taking part in the Singapore Youth Festival Central Judging for Malay Dance. Our members also participated in the Inter-School Artistic Poetry 2008 Competition and won second placing.
